Nous avons des postes qui vous permettront de consolider vos acquis et de faire avancer votre carrière au prochain niveau.</p><p>Description du poste</p><p>The evening Warehouse Worker position is a physical fast-paced and labor-intensive role within a warehouse environment that involves sorting/stocking packages as well as loading and unloading them into and out of UPS package delivery vehicles and trailers.</p><p>Job Type: Part-Time - Permanent</p><p>Work Location: 10 Abbott court, Brantford ON</p><p>Workdays: Monday to Friday</p><p>Shift Start: 4:30 PM Shift averages 3-4 hours a day. Start times/finish times may vary with operational need. Flexibility required</p><p>Pay rate: $18/hr.</p><p><em>** APPLICANTS MUST BE ABLE TO WORK UP TO 25 HOURS PER WEEK**</em></p><p>Responsibilities and Duties:</p><ul><li>Load and unload packages into package delivery vehicles and trailers</li><li>Learn and properly execute company-established package handling methods</li><li>Sort and stock packages based on postal codes</li></ul><p>Qualifications / Requirements:</p><ul><li>Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. (32kg) without assistance</li><li>Full availability to work Monday to Friday (all five days of the week)</li><li>Must be able to work 25 hours per week legally</li><li>Ability to read and memorize postal codes</li><li>Comfortable working in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment</li><li>Comfortable working inside truck trailers and package delivery vehicles</li><li>No prior experience required</li></ul><p>Compensation and Benefits:</p><ul><li>Pay rate of $18/hr.</li><li>Automatic pay rate progression as per the existing Union Collective Agreement to $28.71/hr. after 48 months of service</li><li>Tuition reimbursement of up to $2,000 per semester</li><li>Extended health and dental benefits after one year of service</li><li>2 weeks of paid vacation after one year of service</li><li>Immediate access to UPS 'Employee Discounts'</li><li>Paid training</li><li>Opportunity for advancement within a Fortune 50 Company</li><li>Free onsite parking</li><li>Pension Plan</li><li>Personal Paid Days off</li><li>Employee Referral Bonus Program (conditions applied)</li></ul><p>Expenses/Working Conditions:</p><ul><li>Monthly union dues (approximately $52/month)</li><li>A union initiation fee of $50 (will be deducted after completing 90 working days with UPS)</li><li>Exposed to changing temperatures while working in a warehouse environment</li></ul><p>Of Note:</p><ul><li>In our industry, this position is also known as Warehouse Worker Warehouse Associate Sorter Loader/Unloader and Shipper/Receiver</li></ul><p>UPS Canada est un employeur inclusif et qui adhère au principe d'égalité d'accès à l'emploi.
