Responsibilities

Position Description Summary

Reporting to the Operations Supervisor the successful candidate will be responsible for the shipping and receiving within the warehouse.

Principal Accountabilities

Processing customer orders – including picking, packing and inspecting shipments
Daily communication with transportation companies and customer
Repetitive lifting of heavy items
Removing and reloading server racks from creates
Health and Safety compliance in accordance with company policies.
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of all shipments and receipts
Daily warehouse housekeeping
Participating in inventory control and cycle counting
Liaising with other departments to address delivery and receipt inquires
Becoming an effective team member by participating in process improvement initiatives
Performing other general administrative / warehouse duties and tasks as assigned
Daily local traveling to Client site

Qualifications

Knowledge and Skills

Completion of high school
Must have a valid driver’s license
Minimum two years warehouse experience
Trained and certified forklift, with a proven safe track record
Must be able to continuously lift heavy items
Excellent accuracy and organization skills complimented by the ability to multi-task and prioritize
Work effectively as a team player
Excellent knowledge of overall warehousing process
