Warehouse Associate

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Full-Time Warehouse Associate to join our team. As a Warehouse Associate, you will be responsible for various tasks related to warehouse operations, including loading and unloading shipments, utilizing warehouse management systems, and maintaining inventory accuracy. This is an excellent introductory role for someone who is looking to advance their career in the transportation and logistics industry.

Schedule:

25-30 hours per week (to start) with flexibility to work on weekends and evening/night shifts.

Responsibilities:

• Receiving freight, checking it into the system, managing documentation required for order
• Labeling, sorting and organizing products on skids and throughout warehouse
• Using computer and software to verify and input information into courier system and excel
• Troubleshooting and problem solving in regard to undeliverable, missed and/or missing pieces
• Cleaning, organizing and maintaining a safe warehouse
• Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat; maintaining clean shipping supply area; complying with procedures.
• Will lock/unlock and arm/unarm building as needed.

Experience:

• Previous experience in warehouse distribution or a similar role is preferred
• Proficiency in operating a forklift
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inventory management
• Approachable and friendly demeanor and enjoys working with others.
• Strong level of maturity; reliable, trustworthy, and takes accountability.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
• Ability to work smartly and efficiently unsupervised.
• Good communication skills
• Quick learner, strong memory, and commitment to ensuring high degree of accuracy.
• Strong sense of urgency and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.
• Good working knowledge of Office 365 – email, word, excel, and able to use google and google maps to find information.
