Job Description

The person for this role will be responsible for taking care of customer needs.

You will be expected to make Cold Calls on new potential accounts in your area to secure new Business. You will be responsible on existing customers to build relationships within an assigned territory as well as conducting research to find potential new clients. You will be responsible for supporting the company’s sales efforts.



Job Duties

  • Responsible for providing customer service
  • Provide technical assistance to customers
  • Answer customer’s questions regarding products, services, and delivery
  • Accurately enter and process orders
  • Work with outside salesperson and order desk team to identify, quote and close customer inquiries and VMI
  • Ensure customer service technical requirements for the customer are met
  • Research and source all customer inquiries providing solutions in a timely and organized/systematic manner
  • Support day to day transaction activities to produce a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Keep track of existing Customer’s inventory and VMI contract
  • Review incoming and outgoing customer orders
  • Create opportunity to expand business with current and new potential customers
  • Training will be provided


Requirements

  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Advanced ability to multitask and manage time well
  • Quick and enthusiastic learner
  • Demonstrated ability to work within teams, as well as independently
  • Minimum 3 – 5 years fluid power or relevant work experience
  • Experience in Hydraulic and Fluid Power
  • Positive and professional team attitude
  • Good reading and numeracy skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Aptitude with computer software programs utilized by the company
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Ability to self-motivate
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality

Education and Experience


  • Certificate, diploma, or degree with a concentration in Sales
  • 2 – 3 work experience in Sales is a must
