dedicated to promoting Japanese & Asian media, arts, and pop culture in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. We organize community events throughout the year — including our
annual summer anime convention
and
winter event
— all powered by passionate volunteers from the local anime, gaming, and comic communities.
Role Description:
As a
Volunteer with Ganbatte Convention
, you'll help plan, organize, and run our events both online and in person. Opportunities include:
- Event setup and logistics coordination
- Social media and community engagement
- Registration, guest, and attendee services
- Cosplay, panels, and gaming area support
- Artist Alley and vendor relations
Qualifications:
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Enthusiasm for anime, manga, gaming, or Japanese pop culture
- Ability to stay organized and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
- Previous volunteer or event experience is an asset but not required
