Video Editor (Freelance or Contract) – Short-Form with Cinematic Storytelling
We’re looking for a highly skilled and experienced Video Editor to join our creative team. The focus is primarily on short-form content (Reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts), with some long-form edits. But we’re not looking for quick, templated edits or flashy engagement tricks—we’re looking for someone who understands how to craft cinematic, story-driven content that feels elevated, intentional, and true to the brand.
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong, proven experience editing short-form content with a refined, lifestyle-driven, cinematic approach
- Excellent storytelling instincts, with a keen eye for pacing, rhythm, and emotional flow
- Proficiency in Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, or similar professional editing software
- Advanced color grading experience is a must—our content relies heavily on cohesive and elevated visuals
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently without sacrificing quality—we have a high volume of edits coming in
- Bonus if you’re comfortable with subtle, tasteful audio design or motion graphics when needed
- Must be organized, communicative, and able to consistently meet deadlines
What We’re NOT Looking For:
- Cheesy, overdone short-form content loaded with gimmicky sound effects, rapid-fire jump cuts, or flashy text overlays
- Talking head edits that rely on viral engagement hacks rather than intentional, elevated storytelling
Nice to Have:
- Portfolio showcasing relevant work (required)
- Willingness to complete a short test edit to demonstrate style and alignment
