The Position Detailsare as follows: * Status: Full Time * Office Location: Burlington * Salary Range: $54,500-$65,500 * Additional Compensation Info: 3% Short Term Incentive Plan * Reason for Hire: Replacement   Reporting to Partners and Managers, you will be responsible for: * Being a key contributor to the growth of a new US Tax group, and contributing to tax planning and client management initiatives * Under supervision, preparing all types of US tax returns, including personal and corporate returns * Researching and interpreting tax legislation, formulating solutions, and providing suggestions * Providing technical support on US personal and corporate  tax projects * Assistance to other offices of the Firm as required * Additional responsibilities as required to support Firm objectives   The ideal candidate will have * Graduate of a University Accounting Program, or equivalent, or Enrollment in a University Co-op Accounting Program, or equivalent * Pursuing US Certified Public Accountant and/or Canadian Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation * Experience in a public accounting Firm, an asset * Thorough understanding of the Internal Revenue Code * Knowledge of CaseWare, CaseView, Taxprep and Microsoft Office programs an asset   If you are a confident, dedicated, and hard-working professional motivated to achieve high standards of quality service and value for clients, we would love to hear from you!   We appreciate all who express interest; however, only those selected for an interview will be contacted.   Additional Information:   Accessibility: In accordance with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005 and the Ontario Human Rights Code, DJB will provide accommodations to applicants with disabilities throughout the recruitment, selection and/or assessment process.
