<p><strong>Role Overview</strong></p><p>We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced <strong>Sonographer/Ultrasound Technologist</strong> to join our diagnostic imaging team. In this role, you will perform a variety of ultrasound procedures to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating medical conditions. Our culture is rooted in <strong>Compassion, Unity, Humanity, and Inclusion</strong>, and we're committed to supporting your growth with strong benefits, learning opportunities, and a welcoming, team-first atmosphere.</p><p><strong>What You'll Do</strong></p><ul><li>Perform a wide range of diagnostic ultrasound exams including abdominal, pelvic (including transvaginal), obstetrical, breast, and small parts procedures</li><li>Prepare patients for procedures, explain the process, and ensure their comfort</li><li>Operate ultrasound equipment and ensure high-quality, diagnostic imaging results</li><li>Analyze images and communicate findings with radiologists and other healthcare professionals</li></ul><p><strong>Quality & Compliance</strong></p><ul><li>Maintain accurate patient records and uphold strict confidentiality standards</li><li>Follow all safety, quality control, and infection prevention protocols</li><li>Collaborate effectively with technologists, nurses, physicians, and administrative staff</li></ul><p><strong>What You Bring</strong></p><ul><li>Completion of a post-diploma ultrasound program from a recognized Canadian institution</li><li>Active registration and good standing with the <strong>College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO)</strong></li><li>Current registration with <strong>Sonography Canada</strong></li><li>Proven experience performing a variety of procedures independently, including abdominal, pelvic, TV, obstetrical, breast, and small parts procedures.</li><li>Additional certifications such as MSK or eFTS are considered assets</li><li>Strong understanding of normal vs pathological anatomy</li><li>Ongoing commitment to <strong>continuing education</strong> as required by CMRITO</li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills</li><li>Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment</li><li>Proficient in operating and maintaining imaging equipment according to safety and quality standards</li></ul><br><br><p>PIf7f9f7d5-</p>Browse Jobs in Canada by City
