UI Developer
Contract Term: 6 months, renewable
Work Location: downtown Toronto, ON. Hybrid, onsite 2-3 day a week
Our client, a global leader in IT Consulting services, is looking for an UI Developer.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop responsive and user-friendly web interfaces using HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Work with frameworks/libraries like React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Convert design mockups (e.g., Figma, Adobe XD) into functional UI components.
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and optimize performance for speed and scalability.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers and backend developers to bridge the gap between design and technical implementation.
• Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and agile ceremonies.
• Maintain and improve existing UI codebases and contribute to UI/UX best practices.
Required Qualifications:
• 3–5 years of experience in front-end or UI development.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and at least one major front-end framework (React preferred).
• Experience with REST APIs and integrating frontend with backend services.
• Understanding of responsive design, accessibility (WCAG), and cross-browser support.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Basic understanding of backend technologies or full-stack development.
