<ul><li>Education: No degree, certificate or diploma</li><li>Experience: Will train</li><li><h2>Tasks</h2><br></li><li>Plan or adjust routes based on changing conditions, using computer equipment, global positioning systems (GPS) equipment, or other navigation devices, to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions</li><li>Address customers' complaints or concerns</li><li>Professionalism in customer service</li><li>Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy</li><li>Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials</li><li>Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment</li><li>Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle</li><li>Receive and relay information to central dispatch</li><li>Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption</li><li>Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo</li><li>Transport and handle dangerous goods</li><li><h2>Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses</h2><br></li><li>Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi trailer trucks)</li><li><h2>Security and safety</h2><br></li><li>Criminal record check</li><li><h2>Work conditions and physical capabilities</h2><br></li><li>Attention to detail</li><li>Physically demanding</li><li>Work Term: Permanent</li><li>Work Language: English</li><li>Hours: 40 to 50 hours per week</li></ul>
