<h3>About the Role</h3>
<p><b>Store Manager – The Shoe Co. (Preston Crossings)</b> reports to the District Manager and leads the store environment, fostering inclusivity and diverse customer connections. Responsibilities include coaching and leading the team to achieve store objectives such as in‑store sales, web orders, recruiting, performance management, training, and development.</p>
<h3>Key Responsibilities</h3>
<ul>
<li>Assume leadership role with accountability for maximizing store business results by consistently creating exceptional customer experiences.</li>
<li>Facilitate achievement of business results by role‑modeling a shopping experience that encourages uniquely responsive customer service, compelling merchandise presentation, and operational integrity.</li>
<li>Lead an operationally sound business by balancing company policies, procedures, shrink/loss prevention, payroll, reporting, and scheduling.</li>
<li>Recruit, manage, develop, and train top talent who have a love of shoes.</li>
<li>Achieve company objectives and enhance The Shoe Co. brand image by modeling our values of Passion, Accountability, Collaboration, and Authenticity/ humility.</li>
<li>Develop and implement agile business plans to achieve results.</li>
<li>Foster teamwork, collaboration, and change advocacy within the store and district.</li>
<li>Maintain effective, open lines of communication with Senior Operational Managers.</li>
</ul>
<h3>Qualifications</h3>
<ul>
<li>Relevant post‑secondary education.</li>
<li>Minimum 4 years of progressive retail supervisory experience.</li>
<li>Proven success in achieving sales and profitability targets in large volume top‑door stores.</li>
<li>Positive and energetic team player with strong leadership capability.</li>
<li>Proven ability to motivate others.</li>
<li>Proficiency in computer use, including email, MS Word, and Excel.</li>
<li>Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment while creating a compelling customer experience.</li>
<li>Flexibility to work days, closing shifts, and weekends.</li>
<li>Mobile within a geographic area.</li>
</ul>
