TCS\' proactive stance on climate change and award-winning work with communities across the world have earned it a place in leading sustainability indices such as the MSCI Global Sustainability Index and the FTSE4Good Emerging Index.</p><p><strong>Qualifications (Required Skills):</strong></p><ul><li>Hands-on experience with Node.js and TypeScript for framework development.</li><li>Deep understanding of test frameworks such as Selenium, WebDriverIO, Cypress, Playwright, or similar.</li><li>Proficient in Shell scripting (Bash/Zsh) for automation tasks and system scripting.</li><li>Strong knowledge of RESTful API testing using tools like Postman, Rest Assured, or custom frameworks.</li><li>Experience integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, CircleCI, GitHub Actions).</li><li>Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).</li><li>Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Proven experience mentoring teams and leading automation initiatives; experience with performance and load testing tools like JMeter, Gatling, or k6.</li><li>Knowledge of BDD/TDD frameworks such as Cucumber or Jasmine.</li><li>Understanding security testing and static code analysis tools.</li><li>Contributions to open-source automation tools or frameworks.</li></ul><p><strong>Roles and Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Define and implement robust test automation strategies, frameworks, and tools.</li><li>Architect automation frameworks for UI, API, performance, and integration testing.</li><li>Utilize Node.js and TypeScript to build modern test frameworks and tools.</li><li>Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar tools.</li><li>Develop reusable test components and libraries for the QA team.</li><li>Create and maintain automation utilities/scripts using Shell scripting for test orchestration and system-level automation.</li><li>Conduct PoCs and evaluate new tools/technologies to improve automation coverage and efficiency.</li><li>Mentor QA engineers and developers in automation best practices.</li><li>Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and QA strategy planning.</li></ul><p>Tata Consultancy Services Canada Inc. is committed to meeting the accessibility needs of all individuals in accordance with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) and the Ontario Human Rights Code (OHRC).
