Location: London W14, South West London office.
Employment Type: Full Time (temporary works focus).
Salary: £40,000 – £60,000 per annum.
Seniority Level: Mid‑Senior level.
Job Overview
A Structural Engineer with experience of temporary works design is sought to join this award‑winning structural consultancy at their offices based in South West London. The firm works on building structures covering both temporary and permanent works. The practice is well established and expanding due to its continually increasing workload. The firm works mainly in the high‑end residential sector, both new build and refurbishment, often bespoke projects involving basement design and multi‑storey schemes. Other projects include commercial schemes such as schools, data centres, public sector schemes, vertical extensions, re‑cladding work. Projects normally range from £150,000 up to £10m.
Key Responsibilities
- Hands‑on design at concept level.
- Surveys and reports.
- Involvement in the financial side of things such as invoicing and pricing.
- Managing projects from inception to completion.
Requirements
- Experience in temporary works design.
- Experience in the residential buildings sector.
- Chartered Engineer desirable; support to achieve status available.
- Commercially astute and able to liaise with clients.
- Eligible to live and work in the UK.
