<p>Job Summary<br>Our Halifax branch is currently seeking a<br>Technology Service Technician<br>with an interest in<br>repairing biomedical (dental) devices and equipment<br>, particularly in the area of<br>digital dental technologies<br>. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a range of advanced dental systems, while adhering to manufacturer guidelines and company standards.</p><p><em>*Major Duties</em>*</p><ul><li>Independently respond to assigned customer service calls in a timely manner and assess technical issues related to specific modules or components.</li><li>Identify required parts, supplies, and tools to complete service requests efficiently.</li><li>Deliver, install, configure, and provide basic training to customers on the use and maintenance of installed dental equipment, including digital dental technologies.</li><li>Use, maintain, and secure test equipment and tools for calibrating and repairing dental systems.</li><li>Complete all necessary documentation, including time sheets, service orders, Radiation Protection Bureau forms, inventory, and expense reports.</li><li>Return defective modules or parts to the head office, accompanied by the appropriate identification.</li><li>Maintain a well-stocked inventory of parts and tools.</li><li>Perform other related duties as assigned.</li></ul><p><em>*Job qualifications</em>*</p><ul><li>Diploma in Electronics, Computer Science, or a related field.</li><li>Valid driver's license and clean driving record.</li><li>Ability and willingness to travel regularly throughout Atlantic Canada.</li><li>Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Team-oriented individual with good manual dexterity and technical aptitude.</li><li>2–3 years of experience with TCP/IP networking.</li><li>2–3 years of experience in field repair work, ideally in dental, medical, or biomedical environments.</li><li>Experience in electronics required.</li><li>Strong customer service orientation.</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.</li><li>Bilingualism (French/English) is considered an asset.</li><li>Familiarity with the SAP platform is an asset.</li></ul>Create Your Resume First
