Description

  • Collaborate with Network Designer to deploy Next Generation LAN and WAN at MOH PSAP locations.
  • Design and configure SD-WAN policies and templates.
  • Create high-level and detailed network design documentation.
  • Configure network devices including switches, routers, and firewalls according to design specifications.
  • Implement dynamic routing protocols such as BGP and OSPF on SD-WAN and firewall devices.
  • Physically install SD-WAN routers, LAN switches, and high-availability firewalls.
  • Develop plans for HVAC, power, UPS, generators, and related remediation work.
  • Develop and enforce firewall policies and traffic routing policies.
  • Test network configurations and troubleshoot issues.
  • Implement QoS policies for LAN and WAN.
  • Deploy configurations into the network inventory database.
  • Coordinate with facility SMEs and cable designers on remediation projects.
  • Configure Palo Alto Cloud logging.
  • Support the network environment during the pilot phase.
  • Assist with configuration management automation using Ansible and other tools.
  • Install and configure Aruba ClearPass for identity management.
  • Install and configure out-of-band management firewalls across PSAP locations.
  • Perform other related duties as required.

Skills and Experience

Core Skills (50%)

  • Cisco 9000 series, SD-WAN (Viptela), troubleshooting, migration experience.
  • Palo Alto firewalls, Panorama management, installation, and operation.
  • VMware and networking operations knowledge.
  • Expertise in IP routing and Layer 2 switching in data centers using Cisco 9000 switches.
  • VoIP implementation and QoS for enterprise voice.
  • Windows and Unix OS administration.
  • IPv6 networking experience.
  • Automation and scripting skills using tools like Jenkins, Ansible, Docker, ELK/Elastiflow, Active Directory, LDAP, DNS.

Technical Skills (30%)

  • IPv6 networking.
  • Knowledge of IP communication protocols and routing (OSPF, BGP).
  • Experience with Aruba ClearPass Policy Manager.
  • Knowledge of Palo Alto technologies including Panorama and XDR.
  • Experience supporting 24/7 critical environments.

Communication & Analytical Skills (20%)

  • Ability to work in an agile, dynamic environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Research skills for troubleshooting networking issues.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize effectively under pressure.
  • Customer service orientation with problem-solving skills.
  • Degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or equivalent experience (7-10 years).

Must Have Skills

  • Cisco 9000 series, SD-WAN (Viptela) configuration and troubleshooting.
  • IPv6 experience.
  • Strong knowledge of IP communication and routing (OSPF, BGP).
