The NewRoads Automotive Group is expanding across multiple dealerships, and we are looking for experienced Service Technicians to join our team where our associates are our greatest asset.
We are actively seeking the following locations:
· NewRoads Chevrolet Cadillac Buick GMC located at 18100 Yonge Street, Newmarket, Ontario.
· NewRoads Mazda, located at 349 Mulock Drive, Newmarket, Ontario.
· NewRoads Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram, located at 17615 Yonge Street, Newmarket, Ontario.
· NewRoads Honda, located at 75 Mulock Drive, Newmarket, Ontario.
· NewRoads Toyota Newmarket, located at 1171 Davis Drive, Newmarket, Ontario
Responsibilities of a Technician role include:
- Work attentively in maintaining, repairing, and servicing customer vehicles to ensure safety and customer satisfaction as well as overall department success;
- Perform vehicle maintenance and repairs;
- Diagnose the source of any malfunctions and perform required repairs;
- Examine vehicles to determine if additional safety or service work is required;
- Provide written, prioritized quotes for necessary additional work;
- Explain procedures and repairs directly to the Service Advisor;
- Perform road tests and safety inspections;
- Maintain the cleanliness of personal and team workspaces;
- Complete technical training as per the manufacturer's standards.
What You Offer:
- Previous technician experience is required;
- A valid G class license with a clean driver's abstract;
- The ability to learn new technology and repair and service procedures and specifications;
- The ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment;
- The ability to work individually and as part of a team;
- Have up-to-date knowledge of automotive parts and their functions;
- The ability to effectively communicate automotive issues clearly;
- Possess a high level of integrity and work ethic.
