Overview:

  • We are seeking an experienced Technical Writer to join our Securities Lending Operations team.
  • This role is pivotal in creating detailed process documentation and training materials to support the implementation and operation of our new Securities Lending system.
  • The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technical writing, with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts for diverse audiences.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs), developers, and stakeholders to gather detailed information about the new Securities Lending system and business process execution.
  • Review existing training materials to create comprehensive process documentation, including step-by-step guides, workflows, and troubleshooting guides for organization-wide dissemination.
  • Develop user manuals, quick reference guides, FAQs, and training materials tailored to various audiences.
  • Standardize documentation to maintain consistency in tone, format, and structure.
  • Utilize visuals such as diagrams, charts, and screenshots to enhance understanding of processes.
  • Conduct regular reviews and updates of documentation to reflect system changes or process improvements throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Maintain a documentation repository for version control and easy access.
  • Support the training of wider Securities Lending teams.
  • Provide regular and ad-hoc updates on document creation progress.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience as a Technical Writer, particularly with process and system documentation.
  • Strong ability to simplify technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in documentation tools such as Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, or specialized software (e.g., Confluence, Jira, Qtest).
  • Understanding of workflow or process mapping tools.
  • Understanding of the Securities Lending and/or financial industry.

Nice-to-Have Skills and Experience:

  • Experience working in agile environments.

Department Description:


  • The Securities Lending Operations department comprises approximately 90 team members across middle and back office functions.
  • We operate collaboratively with counterparts in the UK and Malaysia, fostering a supportive and dynamic team culture.

Project Description:

  • Securities Lending Program Upgrade – This project involves upgrading our Securities Lending system to enhance functionality and efficiency.
