Job Title: Technical Support Analyst
Location: Mississauga, ON (Hybrid)
Duration: 12+ months (possible extension or conversion)
Overview:
This role ensures production stability, incident resolution, and system improvements while collaborating globally with teams in NY, HK, Mumbai, Belfast, and Shanghai.
Responsibilities:
- Provide 1st line technical support via phone, email, and in-person.
- Manage and resolve production incidents, perform root cause analysis, and ensure SLA compliance.
- Improve application stability, efficiency, and automation through key initiatives.
- Support change management, deployments, and onboarding of new applications.
- Participate in shift rotations (7:00 am-7:00 pm EST) and weekend support.
Experience with:
- Linux & shell scripting
- SQL & databases (Oracle, Sybase, MS SQL)
- Windows OS & Office troubleshooting
- Monitoring & deployment tools (e.g., ITRS, uDeploy)
- Programming/scripting: Python, Perl, Java, HTML
- Basic networking & traffic analysis
- Familiarity with incident/problem management processes & ticketing tools.
