<p><h3>Overview</h3><p>Built on meritocracy, our unique company culture rewards self-starters and those who are committed to doing what is best for our customers.</p><p><b>Brown & Brown</b> is Seeking a <b>Technical Service Associate</b> to join our growing team in <b>Markham, Ontario</b>.</p><p>Achieve client satisfaction by providing technical support to the account management team and other members of the department to drive the delivery of exceptional customer service.</p><h3>Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Responsible for the day-to-day administrative tasks dedicated to a book of business, including but not limited to reviewing policies, billing notices, processing policies/endorsements, invoicing, issuance of certificates of insurance, and auto ID cards.</li><li>Build courteous and successful relationships with team, vendors and carriers to improve client retention.</li><li>Assist in the renewal process for all assigned clients as directed; including ordering updated loss information, obtaining updated information, documenting renewal applications, and preparing marketing materials and binders.</li><li>Record renewal, sales, and insurance operations compliance documents into the agency management database, as directed.</li><li>Follow brokerage guidelines, policies and procedures.</li><li>Promote teamwork, support, knowledge sharing and a positive attitude in the department and office.</li><li>Participate in training opportunities to remain current on industry information, new product development, legislation, coverages, and technology including professional development and continuing education required for valid licensing.</li><li>All other duties as assigned.</li></ul><h3>Skills & Experience to Be Successful</h3><ul><li>1+ years’ experience in the insurance industry, or a related field.</li><li>Proficient knowledge in Microsoft Windows environment, including but not limited to Word, Excel, Power Point. Able to create, edit, and merge letters, spreadsheets, labels, etc.</li><li>Proficient knowledge use of office equipment (including but not limited to copy machines, printers, faxes, etc.)</li><li>College Degree in a business-related field.
