This role is ideal for a driven sales professional who thrives on building relationships and providing technical solutions to customers. As the Technical Sales Representative, you will manage and grow a defined territory by identifying new business opportunities and expanding existing accounts. You will leverage your technical understanding and consultative approach to support customer needs and represent a strong portfolio of industrial measurement and control products.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop new business through prospecting, networking, and scheduled client visits.

- Maintain and grow existing accounts while identifying additional revenue opportunities.

- Conduct needs assessments and recommends appropriate products and technical solutions.

- Prepare and deliver proposals, quotes, and presentations to customers.

- Attend trade shows, conferences, and sales meetings as required.

- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure customer orders and commitments are met.

- Maintain accurate CRM records for forecasting, tracking, and reporting.

- Travel throughout the assigned territory to meet clients and support sales initiatives.

 

Qualifications

- 5+ years of technical sales experience in industrial equipment or related services.

- Proven success in new business development and account management.

- Strong communication skills with the ability to present technical information clearly.

- Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to manage priorities independently.

- Instrumentation or Electrical diploma/degree (or equivalent experience) considered an asset.

- Strong ability to build relationships and deliver excellent customer service.

 

Compensation: Base Salary $52K + commission

Commission Potential: $50K/year++

Non capped commission plan
