<h3>Job Description</h3><p>Job Description<p><p><strong>Job Posting: – Tactical Enforcement Security Guard</strong><br /><strong>Location:</strong> Ajax<br><br></p><p><strong>Position Type</strong> Full-time days Monday to Friday 6am to 3pm with occasional shift change to 3pm to 12 midnight.<br><br></p><p><strong>About the Role:</strong><br /> LTS Protective Services is seeking an experienced and highly motivated <strong>Tactical Enforcement Security Guard</strong> to lead site-level operations at a high-profile enforcement site. The ideal candidate is confident, detail-oriented, and dedicated to upholding a safe and professional environment.<br><br></p><p>This leadership role includes overseeing front-line staff, enforcing security protocols, and acting as the primary liaison for emergency response and incident resolution.<br><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Conduct assign tasks</li><li>Enforce all LTS and site-specific security procedures and policies</li><li>Conduct regular foot patrols and NFC checkpoint scans</li><li>Oversee access control for restricted areas</li><li>Respond to incidents, emergencies, and calls for service</li><li>Complete detailed incident reports and daily activity logs</li><li>Conduct on-site inspections and maintain high safety standards</li><li>Liaise with emergency services, law enforcement, and property stakeholders</li><li>Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times</li></ul><p><br /><strong>Required Qualifications & Certifications:</strong></p><p>To be eligible for this position, candidates must <strong>hold and maintain</strong> the following <strong>valid certifications</strong> throughout their employment:</p><ul><li>Ontario Security Guard License (physical or digital copy must be on person while on duty)</li><li>Standard First Aid & CPR Level C</li><li>AODA (Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act) Training</li><li>Use of Force, Handcuffing, and Baton Certification (Stay Safe program or LTS-approved provider)</li><li>Smart Serve Certification</li><li>Ministry of Labour Health and Safety Awareness Training</li><li>LTS Code of Conduct Acknowledgement</li></ul><p><br /><strong>Candidates must also:</strong></p><ul><li>Have a minimum of <strong>2 years of security experience</strong></li><li>Be legally eligible to work in Ontario</li><li>Provide proof of full COVID-19 vaccination (in compliance with current policy)</li><li>Be physically fit and able to perform patrol and intervention duties</li><li>Demonstrate strong leadership, communication, and crisis management skills</li><li>Possess a post-secondary diploma in law enforcement (preferred)</li></ul><p><br /><strong>Uniform & Equipment Requirements:</strong><br /> All employees must wear full LTS-approved tactical uniform while on duty, including:</p><ul><li>Black Cargo Pants</li><li>LTS 2-in-1 White Security Shirt</li><li>LTS Tactical Vest (Level 3A stab-proof body armor)</li><li>Tactical Duty Belt with inner belt</li><li>CSA-approved black boots/shoes</li><li>Handcuffs and Baton (mandatory after Use of Force training)</li><li>LTS-issued epaulettes and ID badge</li><li>Reflective safety vest</li></ul><p><br />Employees are responsible for purchasing and maintaining their required uniform and gear. If already owned, personal items may be submitted for approval.</p><p><br /><strong>Training Expectations:</strong></p><p>Site Supervisors must complete and maintain the following <strong>mandatory annual training</strong>:</p><ul><li>AODA</li><li>WHMIS</li><li>First Aid/CPR</li><li>Smart Serve</li><li>Resistance Management System Certification (Handcuff & Baton)</li></ul><p>Training may be delivered through LTS or approved third-party vendors.
