<h3>Job Description</h3><p>Job Description<p><strong>JOB DESCRIPTION</strong><br /><p></p><p><strong>In this role, the Shift Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the level of service, product quality, product availability, food safety, and cleanliness during the shift, all while creating a positive and fun work environment where all employees can succeed.</strong></p><p>Responsibilities include but are not limited to:</p><p>Health and Safety</p><ul><li>Ensures all team members perform work in a safe manner including using personal protective equipment</li><li>Works in compliance with the occupational health and safety legislation</li><li>Knows, understands and follows safe work practices and procedures</li><li>Reports all injuries/illness, accidents, unsafe conditions, security incidents and any contravention of health and safety legislation, policies and procedures to the Restaurant Manager or Owner</li><li>Ensures health and safety policies and procedures are adhered to during shifts, including documentation of any work related injuries or accidents</li><li>Records and utilizes logs as per food safety standards i.e. temperature log</li></ul><p>Human Resources</p><ul><li>Supervise team members</li><li>Assist Restaurant Manager in recruitment</li><li>Conduct pre-shift huddle and motivates employees throughout shift</li><li>Ensure employees are in proper uniform and standards</li><li>Provides coaching and feedback as necessary</li><li>Provides training as required</li></ul><p>Customer Service</p><ul><li>Ensures quality and standards are met</li><li>Handles customer service complaints with confidence, quickly and professionally</li><li>Puts corrective actions in place</li></ul><p>Operations</p><ul><li>Assigns duties to employees as required</li><li>Assigns floats and balances cash at the end of shift</li><li>Ensures restaurant is stocked, cleaned, staffed and prepared for following shift</li></ul><p>Qualifications & Skills</p><ul><li>Previous experience in food service industry</li><li>Excellent knowledge of Tim Hortons products and procedures</li><li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills</li><li>Previous supervision experience an asset</li><li>Excellent customer service focus</li><li>Consistent adherence to <span >policies/procedures</span></li></ul><p>Please note all candidates considered for hire will be required to successfully pass a criminal background check.
