STORE MAINTENANCE ASSOCIATE/CLEANER

Overview
We are seeking a motivated and Store Maintenance Associate/CLEANER to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers while maintaining a clean and organized store environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a passion for KEEPING THE STORE CLEAN AT ALL TIMES.

Duties

• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the sales floor, including commercial cleaning and custodial tasks as needed.
• Driving Floor Cleaning machine and walk behind machine to clean the floors properly
• Cleaning all the washrooms daily, without fail
• Cleaning all the areas of the store daily, including Warehouse, when needed
• Utilize hand tools and power tools safely to assemble or demonstrate products when required.
• Perform heavy lifting as necessary to move merchandise or assist in store maintenance.
• Communicate effectively with team members and management to ensure smooth operations within the store.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing concerns, answering questions, and resolving issues promptly.
• Other duties assigned by management team, on adhoc basis

Qualifications

• Previous experience in Cleaning a must
• Previous experiencing driving floor cleaning machines and walk behind cleaner is a must.
• Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to perform custodial duties and maintain facilities as part of daily responsibilities.
• Comfortable with heavy lifting and using various hand tools and power tools safely.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with customers and team members effectively.
• A positive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges in the retail environment.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: $17.20-$18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
