Reporting to: Store Manager

Mandatory Qualification: Capable of pant hemming Lock stitch and Blind Stitch

The Store and Alteration Associate is the customer service and alteration specialist of the store. They are responsible for exceeding customer expectations by providing timely and quality alteration service, listening to customer needs, finding products that meet their needs and providing in-depth information about our products.

Job Description 

  • Responsible for exceeding customer expectations by actively engaging with customers, understanding their needs, and providing product information to help them find the right items. Contribute to maintaining the store's brand and operational standards, including cleanliness
  • Alter various types of pants and process request/orders in timely manner
  • Provide training and support for other store associates
  • Additional duties as assigned by Store Management

 

Desired Skills and Experiences 

  • Must be able to work minimum 40 hours per week based on business needs
  • Have experienced several years of ALTERATION for blind stitch, lock stitch and surging experience with high sense of urgency and attention to detail
  • Familiarity with industrial sewing machines, blind stitch machines and sergers
  • Friendly customer service and assist as needed store operations, support store associates
  • Strong passion to offer new value to the customers through Uniqlo products, and educate Uniqlo’s new fashion style to the market
  • Ability to collaborate cross functionally to achieve brand visions
  • Team player and excellent communication skills
  • Ability to adapt to a challenging and fast paced environment, remain flexible and adjust to changing priorities
  • Always learning about new trends and information
