A kind and respectful family in Sunnylea (Etobicoke) is looking for a daytime nanny to care for their 4-month-old baby during their short-term stay. They are offering up to $40 per hour for the right candidate. Schedule: The family is flexible with scheduling. They are looking for 3 days and approximately 15 hours per week and are open to accommodating the candidate’s availability. Please include your preferred days when applying. Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to: * Providing attentive, nurturing care for their 4-month-old baby to allow the mother time to rest and recharge. This includes diaper changes, bottle feeding, soothing, monitoring sleep, and supporting healthy sleep routines. * Assisting with light baby-related tasks such as preparing bottles, cleaning baby supplies, organizing the nursery, and supporting the mother with breastfeeding. * Offering emotional and educational support to the new parents by keeping them informed about feeding, sleeping, and diapering habits, and addressing any concerns. * Maintaining a clean, safe, and calming environment for the baby. The family is particularly looking for someone who has recent experience caring for newborns and infants. They are seeking someone professional, hygienic, self-sufficient, and proactive. Strong communication and listening skills are essential, along with a warm, light-hearted personality, a good sense of humor, and a genuine love for babies. The family welcomes candidates who have personal, hands-on experience caring for newborns and infants, such as having raised children themselves, as they believe this can bring valuable insight and an extra layer of nurturing care. (Note: All relevant experience is welcome; personal parenting experience is not a requirement.) The family also has one large, friendly, and affectionate dog.
