Job Description


Infosys is seeking a SAP ABAP Consultant who will interface with key stakeholders and apply technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle, including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition, and Design. The candidate will play an important role in creating high‑level design artifacts, delivering high quality code for a module, leading validation for all types of testing, and supporting implementation, transition, and warranty activities. Required Skills



  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution.

  • At least 4 years of Information Technology experience.

  • Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Mississauga, Ontario or Calgary, Alberta, or be willing to relocate to the area.

  • Position may require travel.

  • Authorized to work for any employer in Canada without employer‑based visa sponsorship (Infosys is unable to provide immigration sponsorship for this role at this time).


Preferred Qualifications



  • Expert in SAP Interfacing technologies (Proxies, IDOCs, File Based, RAP).

  • Strong knowledge of Enhancements, Adobe Forms, and OOPs ABAP.

  • Expertise in Design and Analysis.

  • Hands‑on Development, Team Lead, and Solution Architect experience.

  • Ownership of project deliverables.

  • Go‑live support and ability to work with business and technical teams to deliver optimal solutions.

  • Innovative mindset to add value for customers.

  • Develop functional recommendations, including process changes.

  • Share best practices and common technical approaches.

  • Proficiency in SAP S/4HANA ABAP, Interface, Enhancement, OOPs, OData, CDS Views, AMDP.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written.

  • Proactive problem‑solving approach.


Compensation


Estimated annual compensation for the candidate based in Ontario: $89,004 to $115,491.
