Core development is done in Java, Spring and JavaScript, although the nature of our work allows project teams the opportunity to work with a wide variety of technologies. Recent projects we’ve delivered include technologies such as React, Angular, Moleculer, <a href="http://Node.js" target="_blank">Node.js</a>, MongoDB, Kafka, Hadoop, Kotlin, Cloud Foundry and AWS.</p><p><br /></p><p>As QA Engineer, you'll have the opportunity to work with a cross-functional collaborative team to identify issues, develop test plans and execute test cases, write automated tests, and contribute to the overall quality of the project. </p> <h3>While working within a team in an Agile environment, you will be:</h3><ul><li>Facilitating discussions between leadership, clients and developers to identify and document functional requirements</li><li>Developing and documenting test plans to ensure appropriate testing of the application code developed by the project team</li><li>Developing, documenting, automating, and executing test cases to verify the application code developed by the project team</li><li>Gathering and processing business information related to procedures, data and processes to clarify business issues/requirements</li><li>Driving QA strategy and investigating, applying and evolving QA tools, processes and best practices including metrics and analytics</li><li>Collaborating directly with development team to deliver projects on-time and on-budget to the client’s satisfaction</li></ul><h3>'Must Have' Skills/Experience</h3><ul><li>Experience and expertise in automated testing methodologies, frameworks, tools, and best practices</li><li>Programming experience in Java/JavaScript</li><li>Experience testing APIs</li><li>Familiarity with mocking external dependencies and exploratory testing techniques</li><li>Exposure to and enthusiasm for Agile approaches to software development</li><li>Proven client-facing, partnership and presentation skills</li><li>Strong problem solving abilities</li><li>Ability to consolidate diverse business requirements and facilitate realistic, common sense solutions</li><li>Bachelor’s Degree in one of: Business, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science or Physics (or equivalent education/experience)</li></ul><p>For more info on Electric Mind, check out our <a href="https://jobs.lever.co/electricmind">Careers Page</a> and <a href="https://www.instagram.com/__electricmind__/">Instagram</a>.</p><p><br /></p><p>Electric Mind is committed to diversity in the workplace.
