This role combines strong technical knowledge of construction projects with commercial acumen, client-facing experience, and the ability to drive project pursuits from initial opportunity identification through award and handoff to operations.</p><p><br></p><p><strong><u>Key Responsibilities:</u></strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li>Identifying, qualifying, and pursuing new business opportunities across infrastructure and civil construction sectors.</li><li>Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, consultants, partners, and key industry stakeholders.</li><li>Participating in industry events, pre-bid meetings, and networking activities to position Amico for upcoming opportunities.</li><li>Supporting strategic growth planning by providing market insights and developing pursuit strategies.</li><li>Leading the full lifecycle of proposal and bid submissions, including schedules, deliverables, compliance, and quality control.</li><li>Coordinating with internal teams-estimating, engineering, operations, design partners-to gather technical content and ensure cohesive submissions.</li><li>Developing proposal narratives, project methodologies, work plans, and company capability sections.</li><li>Ensuring proposals are tailored to client requirements and highlight Amico's strengths, value propositions, and differentiators.</li><li>Overseeing bid clarifications, RFIs, addenda review, and client follow-up.</li><li>Leading preliminary and conceptual estimating for new opportunities.</li><li>Reviewing quantity takeoffs, subcontractor pricing, scope sheets, and cost breakdowns.</li><li>Evaluating risk, schedule constraints, scope gaps, and commercial terms.</li><li>Collaborating with the estimating department to produce accurate, competitive, and compliant bid submissions.</li><li>Supporting development of budgets, cost models, and value engineering alternatives.</li><li>Providing input on procurement strategies, subcontractor onboarding, and pre-construction activities.</li><li>Facilitating handover from pre-construction to operations, ensuring alignment on scope, schedule, risks, and commercial commitments.</li><li>Supporting contract negotiations, award recommendations, and onboarding of project teams.</li><li>Monitoring awarded projects at a high level to ensure alignment with bid assumptions and strategic goals.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong><u>Qualifications:</u></strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or related field.</li><li>8+ years of experience in project management, estimating, proposals, or business development within the construction or infrastructure industry.</li><li>Strong understanding of civil, infrastructure, and heavy construction scopes.</li><li>Demonstrated success leading competitive bids and producing high-quality proposal submissions.</li><li>Proficiency with estimating software, proposal tools, and construction project management platforms.</li><li>Excellent communication, writing, and presentation skills.</li><li>Ability to manage multiple deadlines, coordinate cross-functional teams, and drive results.</li></ul><p><br></p><p> <strong><u>What Amico Can Offer You</u></strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li>Competitive Salary</li><li>Medical, dental, and vision insurance</li><li>Employer Matching Retirement Program</li><li>Life insurance</li></ul><p><br></p><p><em>At Amico, we are committed to providing an environment of mutual respect where equal opportunities are available to all applicants and teammates.
