<h3>Role overview</h3>
<p>As a Specialist, Digital Health, you will play a pivotal role in shaping, coordinating, and managing projects that redefine healthcare through technology-driven solutions. Reporting to the Director, Digital Health you will serve as a key resource and collaborator within a dynamic team. You’ll play a central part in supporting digital health initiatives, leveraging leading-edge planning and development methodologies. Your work will help implement innovative strategies, drive operational excellence, and support the delivery of transformative projects that matter to stakeholders across the region.</p>
<h3>What you will be doing</h3>
<ul>
<li><p>Coordinate and manage complex planning projects, ensuring smooth implementation and alignment with program objectives.</p></li>
<li><p>Assist in project management, research, engagement, and program evaluation to support the Digital Health team’s success.</p></li>
<li><p>Support the execution of Ontario Health’s regional initiatives, partnering with a range of stakeholders to achieve organizational goals and positive outcomes.</p></li>
<li><p>Provide operational support, consolidate team reports and metrics, and facilitate knowledge exchange activities to boost adoption of new frameworks and solutions.</p></li>
</ul>
<h3>Key responsibilities</h3>
<ul>
<li><p>Define program/operations scope and deliverables with the Director, Digital Health, contributing subject-matter expertise.</p></li>
<li><p>Implement required frameworks, methodologies, and standards to ensure best-in-class project delivery.</p></li>
<li><p>Develop processes, tools, templates, and technology in collaboration with leadership.</p></li>
<li><p>Identify and escalate operational risks, recommending creative and practical solutions.</p></li>
<li><p>Coordinate program processes in compliance with organizational standards.</p></li>
<li><p>Assess progress using standards and metrics, and share insights through focused reporting.</p></li>
<li><p>Maintain accurate, timely program documentation.</p></li>
<li><p>Build strong relationships with internal and external partners to maximize program reach and impact.</p></li>
</ul>
<h3>What you will need to be successful</h3>
<p><b>Education and Experience</b></p>
<ul>
<li><p>Post secondary education (Diploma or Bachelor) in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Digital Health, Information Systems/ Information Technology (IS/IT); or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.</p></li>
<li><p>1-3 years experience working in a healthcare setting or relevant field.</p></li>
</ul>
<p><b>Knowledge and Skills</b></p>
<ul>
<li><p>Broad knowledge of planning/analysis methodologies and ability to make effective recommendations.</p></li>
<li><p>Understanding of Ontario’s healthcare system dynamics and experience with quality improvement initiatives.</p></li>
<li><p>Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills; thrive in a fast-paced, multi-priority environment.</p></li>
<li><p>Proficiency with Microsoft Excel</p></li>
</ul>
