<p><b>Job type: Permanent</b></p><p><b>Work model: </b>three days per week onsite</p><p><b>Location:</b> Mississauga</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p>Our client is a high-growth Canadian organization in the financial services sector and they're undergoing major digital transformation initiatives. They are looking for a skilled Solution Architect to join their Enterprise Architecture team.</p><p>This is a role for an experienced architect who thrives in fast-paced environments where innovation, scalability, and security are top priorities. You'll take ownership of end-to-end solution design for complex programs, bringing together technical depth and business insight to deliver impactful, enterprise-wide systems.</p><p><b>What you'll do:</b></p><ul><li>Lead the design of large-scale technology solutions aligned to business transformation goals.</li><li>Oversee the complete solution lifecycle, from initial architecture through deployment and ongoing support.</li><li>Act as a trusted advisor on architectural decisions across applications, infrastructure, security, and integration.</li><li>Collaborate with stakeholders and delivery teams to ensure solutions meet business needs and technical requirements.</li><li>Develop architecture artifacts and solution blueprints that support long-term scalability and maintainability.</li><li>Champion enterprise standards, governance, and compliance practices.</li><li>Provide technical leadership for Salesforce Financial Services Cloud solutions, including integrations and customization strategies.</li><li>Guide the design and delivery of API-driven, microservices-based, and cloud-native solutions on Microsoft Azure.</li><li>Conduct design/code reviews to maintain quality, performance, and security standards.</li><li>Support modernization efforts, addressing technical debt and evolving legacy systems.</li><li>Mentor development, infrastructure, and operations teams to ensure architectural consistency and delivery success.</li><li>Clearly communicate architectural strategies and trade-offs to both technical and business audiences.</li></ul><p><b>What you bring:</b></p><ul><li>5+ years of experience in solution architecture within financial services (lending, banking, or insurance preferred).</li><li>Demonstrated leadership on major transformation programs in a Lead Architect role.</li><li>Expertise with Salesforce platforms, particularly Financial Services Cloud (FSC), Lightning, and Marketing Cloud is a big bonus</li><li>Strong background in API architecture, microservices, ESBs, and event-driven design.</li><li>Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services, infrastructure, security, and DevOps practices.</li><li>Knowledge of compliance frameworks and security standards (e.g., PCI, SOC 2) across hybrid environments.</li><li>Ability to balance short-term project delivery with long-term architectural alignment.</li><li>Experience collaborating across IT and business teams in both agile and hybrid methodologies.</li><li>Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including influencing senior leaders.</li><li>Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; certifications such as TOGAF, Azure Architect, or Salesforce Architect are assets.</li></ul><p></p>
