Job Title: Social Media Strategist and Content Creator

About the Role:

B’nai Brith Canada is seeking a creative Social Media Strategist and Content Creator to lead our digital marketing efforts.


This role is ideal for a forward-thinking marketer who can develop and implement high-impact social strategies, with a strong emphasis on social media leadership, content creation, brand voice, and community engagement. You’ll guide our digital presence across a number of platforms and oversee digital advertising campaigns to strengthen visibility, engagement, and impact.

This is a full-time, in-office position based in Toronto.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Lead the development and execution of an integrated digital marketing strategy aligned with organizational priorities
  • Oversee all social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X/Twitter, YouTube) for multiple accounts, ensuring cohesive brand representation
  • Assist with the creation and management of newsletters and email sends
  • Manage the digital content calendar and guide cross-functional marketing efforts
  • Monitor digital trends and adjust strategy to maximize performance and relevance

Content Creation & Community Engagement

  • Produce engaging, platform-specific content including short-form video, reels, and graphics
  • Work collaboratively with the marketing and design team to craft impactful campaigns
  • Build and manage vibrant online communities; moderate comments, DMs, and audience interaction
  • Maintain a consistent brand voice aligned with B’nai Brith Canada’s mission and values

Digital Advertising & Performance Analytics

  • Develop and coordinate paid media campaigns across Google Ads, Meta Ads, and other platforms
  • Track, analyze, and report on campaign performance using tools like Google Analytics, Meta Insights, and LinkedIn Analytics
  • Use data to optimize content, engagement, and overall digital performance

Required Skills & Qualifications:


  • Demonstrated experience leading digital and social media strategy
  • Excellent organizational and project management abilities
  • Strong content creation skills with an eye for storytelling and design
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools (e.g. Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Meta Business Suite)
  • Familiarity with digital ad platforms (Google Ads, Meta Ads)
  • Skilled in analytics and performance tracking
  • Experience working with Jewish organizations or community-based nonprofits is a strong asset
