<p>Part-Time Soccer Coach (Evenings & Weekends)</p><p>PLEASE NOTE: ONLY QUALIFIED COACHES WILL BE CONSIDERED</p><p>Location: Milton, Ontario<br><br>Position Type: Part-Time (Evenings & Weekends)<br><br>Compensation: Competitive hourly wage, based on qualifications and experience</p><p>About Us</p><p>Halton Hawks FC is a competitive youth soccer club dedicated to developing intelligent, skillful players. Our approach is guided by the Xcel Coaching Model, a methodology that emphasizes game intelligence, creativity, and long-term player development.</p><p>We are looking for qualified, motivated, and team-oriented coaches to work with age groups U9–U17. Coaches will receive ongoing mentorship in applying the Xcel Coaching Model and are expected to fully embrace and buy into the club's coaching philosophy.</p><p>Scope</p><p>As part of the Halton Hawks FC Technical Staff and reporting to the Technical Management Team, this position is responsible for providing leadership and overseeing player development in alignment with the Club's Vision and Mission. The role includes all aspects of a player development program, including (but not limited to):</p><ul><li>Games & practices</li><li>Off-field activities</li><li>Seasonal planning & curriculum</li></ul><p>The position requires a dedicated person who is passionate about the game and committed to continuous learning. Mentorship and training will be provided by the Coach Development Manager. Furthermore, the successful candidate will have their Ontario Soccer coach education covered by the Club (*conditions apply).</p><p>Primary Duties & Responsibilities</p><p>Technical</p><ul><li>Plan, develop, and execute age-appropriate training sessions in line with Ontario Soccer's LTPD and the Xcel Coaching Model.</li><li>Travel with the team and attend all practices, games, and festivals.</li><li>Support the development of team playing styles consistent with the club's philosophy.</li><li>Acquire and maintain relevant coaching certifications required by Ontario Soccer and the District.</li></ul><p>Administration</p><ul><li>Prepare player evaluations (minimum two per season).</li><li>Maintain effective communication with players, parents, and the wider membership.</li><li>Assist with internal communications and coordination with club staff.</li></ul><p>Other Responsibilities</p><ul><li>Training Delivery: Lead engaging, structured sessions that challenge and inspire players.</li><li>Game Coaching: Manage matches with a focus on player development, performance, and decision-making.</li><li>Player Assessment: Track progress, provide feedback, and support player movement between teams.</li><li>Collaboration: Work closely with the Technical Director and coaching staff to ensure alignment and consistency.</li><li>Culture & Standards: Promote a safe, positive, and professional environment at all times.</li></ul><p>Minimum Qualifications</p><ul><li>Soccer for Life License (mandatory).
