Please feel free to check out our instagram @higginshardscape.</p><p>Our core values here at Higgins Hardscape:</p><p>Integrity - Be honest, stand by your word</p><p>Care - Take care of our clients and each other</p><p>Quality - Build high quality, Don't leave anything on the table.</p><p>Humility - Be humble, be willing to change and grow.</p><p>What We Are Looking For:</p><ul><li>Full-time year-round employee willing to learn</li><li>Reliable, punctual, wanting a place for long term growth</li><li>Goal oriented and passionate about the landscape industry.</li><li>Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and demonstrate initiative.</li><li>Valid G class clean license or greater</li></ul><p>While working for Higgins Hardscape, you will be responsible to perform a variety of duties and responsibilities but not limited to:</p><ul><li>Grading, gravel installation, sod laying, interlock pavers installation.</li><li>Ability to read site/grading plans.</li><li>Building swimming pools.</li><li>Installing concrete pads, pool bottoms and troweling smooth bottom coat.</li><li>Plumbing of pool pumps or equipment.</li><li>Build retaining walls, paths and patios, build structures according to landscaping designs, flagstone, armor stones and steps.</li><li>Operating equipment and machinery such as: tampers, concrete saws, excavators, skid steer, carpentry tools, chop saw, table saw, basic hand tools, plow trucks and salters.</li><li>Installing drainage systems, as directed.</li><li>Assist with lawn area grading via digging, trenching and excavating.</li></ul><p>Qualifications and Experience:</p><ul><li>Minimum of 1-2 years working in the landscape construction field doing interlocking, stone work, deck and fence construction.</li><li>Must have valid & clean G class drivers license.</li><li>Your own Transportation to get to and from our shop in Waterdown.</li><li>Must be able to work in all types of weather conditions.</li><li>You're looking for full-time year-round work with interest in working during all 4 seasons.</li></ul><p>Wages and Work Perks:</p><ul><li>Competitive wages will be determined based on experience.</li><li>$25-$40+ per hour</li><li>Attractive benefits package</li><li>Option of salary based pay</li><li>Employee appreciation events</li><li>Company paid health benefits</li><li>RRSP program with company contribution</li><li>Safe & healthy work environment</li><li>Advancement opportunities</li><li>Company paid uniforms</li><li>Bonuses (year end & attendance)</li></ul><p>Job Types: Full-time, Permanent</p><p>Pay: $25.00-$45.00 per hour</p><p>Expected hours: 45 – 55 per week</p><p>Benefits:</p><ul><li>Company events</li></ul><p>Education:</p><ul><li>Secondary School (preferred)</li></ul><p>Experience:</p><ul><li>Construction: 2 years (preferred)</li><li>Skilled Labor: 2 years (preferred)</li></ul><p>Licence/Certification:</p><ul><li>Driver's License (required)</li></ul><p>Work Location: In person</p>
