Gottardo Group of Companies.<br><br>We are seeking an experienced Site Superintendent with Hotel experience<br><br>Responsibilities:<ul><li>Provide overall construction management including design, budget, and schedule in conjunction with the Project Manager, Subcontractors, Owner, Engineers, and Architects.</li><li>Manage work on-site to ensure the compliance of construction with the drawings, specifications, and safety regulations.</li><li>Plan and implement schedules, determine manpower levels and material quantities, and ensure proper equipment and trades are available as required.</li><li>Advise the Project Manager and senior management of potential problems, work interferences, and schedule difficulties and assist in resolving these problems.</li><li>Manage the work activities of direct reports and administrative documentation as required in cooperation with appropriate departments.</li><li>Plan and implement schedules, determine manpower levels and material quantities, and ensure proper equipment and trades are available as required.</li><li>Site Logistics (layout including trailers, access, & storage, erosion and sediment controls, waste management, etc.)</li><li>Ability to proactively identify technical challenges and solutions to the project structure and envelope working with the Construction Sciences department.</li><li>Site office set up (temporary power, water, heating).</li></ul>
<br>Qualifications:<ul><li>You have a minimum of 7 years of experience.</li><li>Finishing experience is an asset.</li><li>You have a working knowledge of scheduling & project management.</li><li>You have ICI construction experience.</li><li>You have advanced knowledge of various construction disciplines, safety regulations, scheduling, cost control, quality control, and engineering drawings.</li><li>You have the ability to quickly identify problem situations, evaluate alternative causes, produce workable solutions, and lead a large team to successful completion.</li><li>You have strong scheduling experience with a proven ability to develop, maintain and execute both long-term and short-term schedules.</li><li>Understanding of the Building Code and local by-laws.</li><li>Understanding Prime Contract Requirements.</li><li>Understand types of subcontract agreements (design-build, design-assist, lump sum, contract management, and P3).</li></ul>About Gottardo Group of Companies:<br><p>We are a Real Estate Developer, Design Builder and General Contractor, along with a Masonry Company. <br>Our Head Office is located in Vaughan. <br><br></p>
