Job Description
<p><strong>Immediate need for Siemens Gamesa Troubleshooters with experience and training on Siemens Gamesa turbines.</strong></p><p><span >As a Wind Turbine Troubleshooter, you will be responsible for identifying common, reoccurring, and major component faults on newly operational Siemens G145 wind turbine generators:</span></p><ul><li><p><span >Travel to various wind farm sites across the U.S. and Canada for job assignments</span></p></li></ul><ul><li><p><span >Troubleshoot problems on systems where duly trained/certified, including hydraulics, electrical and mechanical to ensure wind turbine and generator is operational and functioning properly</span></p></li></ul><ul><li><p><span >Develop advanced troubleshooting knowledge and skills on site in collaboration with other competent individuals</span></p></li><li><p><span >May perform maintenance tasks</span></p></li><li><p><span >Lead small teams; accountable for the safety, competency and productivity of individuals assigned to them</span></p></li><li><p><span >Keep records, maintains documentation and reports technical, safety issues and difficulties as required by company policy.</span></p></li><li><p><span >Maintain and follows safety procedures as required by company policy.</span></p></li><li><p><span >May assist or perform component replacement, retrofits, and other special assignments</span></p></li><li><p><span >Continue to develop and expand wind maintenance skillset through on-the-job training and train others in performing service work</span></p></li><li><p><span >Work safely, competently and productively under the direction of others</span></p></li></ul>
