Job Description
**Our client a leading distributor that has been in business for over 70 years located in Mississauga is looking to add a Shipper/Receiver with Reach for short shift to their team**Great opportunity for long term opportunities with potential for direct hire after 3 months.
Job Duties:
- Responsible for the receiving, put-away, picking, packing, cross-docking and/or shipping of customer orders in a high-paced environment, ensuring our customers receive what they need when they need it.
- Track shipment status, and provide updates to customers, as required.
- Receive and inspect products upon delivery to verify quality and completeness, maintaining our reputation of reliability.
- Accurately document and communicate incidents appropriately to ensure we learn and improve through our challenges.
- Maintain a safe and clean workspace, and report health & safety related concerns, upholding our commitment to Health & Safety.
- Collaborate and communicate with key partners and colleagues to maintain an effective, unified team-focused goal of delivering to our customers’ needs.
- Actively model our positive culture through teamwork and collaboration with all team members at all times.
- Participate in occasional overtime, as required, to maintain our accountability for delivering on our customers’ needs

Requirements:
- Must have certification Reach
- Must have minimum 6 months Reach experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Basic math and analytical skills
- (2) pieces of Government issued Photo ID and Proof of SIN.
- CSA Safety Shoes or Boots.
- Clear Criminal Record Search.
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
- Must be able to work in fast paced environment.
- Must have good communication skills oral and written.
- Previous experience with RF Scanner an asset.
- Previous shipping and picking experience (an asset)
