Shipper/Receiver Position
We’re looking for a high-energy, self-motivated and results-oriented Shipper / Receiver to join our team. The Shipper / Receiver will properly prepare and load outgoing shipments of finished products, unload incoming shipments, and transport of materials/finished products to appropriate department and/or storage location. This role directly reports to the plant manager and works hand in hand with the purchasing team.
Duties and Responsibilities
· Inspect shipments for accuracy, completeness, quality and inconsistencies
· Be able to manage warehouse space to accommodate incoming and outgoing inventory shipments
· Receive products into inventory and report receiving discrepancies to Purchasing team
· Assisting in inventory management through documentation processes and inventory counts
· Sorting, stacking, and putting away products to company standards
· Ship out going orders and maintain documentation
· Maintain cleanliness and functionality of warehouse and receiving area
· Maintain knowledge, documentation of inventory and stock locations
· Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
· Handle, store, document and ship Marketing material
· Must be organized, motivated and adhere to all company safety policies
· Must be able to lift up to 50 Lbs
· Must be flexible to come in early to receive containers from overseas
· Must be able to work well as part of team
· Forklift maintenance
Credentials
· High School Diploma
· A good understanding and respect for workplace safety
· Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Experience
- Minimum of 3 years of related experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experienced in proper shipping, receiving and stocking procedures
- Experienced in comparative analyses of incoming materials
- Experienced in quarantining, tracking and documenting and non-conforming materials

· Steel toed shoes (CSA Approved)

Shift: Monday to Friday 8am – 4pm (Occasional 6am start time)
Pay: $16-$19/hr
