About the Role:


AlivioWorks is hiring on behalf of one of our clients in Edmonton.  Shipper/Receiver responsible for coordinating the efficient and accurate movement of product, supplies, and equipment both in and out of the facility.This role ensures customer satisfaction through precise order fulfillment and maintaining organized inventory records.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Shipping: Accurately pick, pack, and prepare outgoing shipments, including ensuring product integrity and generating all necessary documentation (waybills, bills of lading, etc.).
  • Receiving: Unload, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders/packing slips, noting and reporting any damages or discrepancies.
  • Inventory & Warehousing: Organize and put away materials in designated bin locations. Assist with cycle counting and inventory maintenance. Order picking.
  • Safety & Equipment: Safely operate material handling equipment, primarily a forklift and pallet jack, and adhere to all health, safety, and operational standards.
  • Customer Service: Assist internal and external customers (e.g., contractors picking up orders) at the warehouse counter.


Qualifications & Skills:
  • Must be able to operate a Reach Truck and Counterbalance forklifts.
  • Valid Forklift Operator Certification is required.
  • Must pass a criminal background check.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Computer skills is an asset.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a shipping/receiving or warehouse role.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills.
