<h3>Job Description</h3><p>Job Description<p><strong>JOB DESCRIPTION</strong><br /><p></p><p><strong>General Description: </strong>Provide friendly, responsive service to create an exceptional breakfast experience for all our guests. Each server’s primary objective is to provide our guests with hospitality that ‘fills the soul’</p><p><br /></p><p><strong>Activities & Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Promote, work, and act in a manner consistent with objectives of OEB Breakfast Co.</li><li>Monitor and observe guest dining experiences to ensure guests are satisfied with the food and service and respond promptly and courteously to correct and address and problems.</li><li>Collect payments form guests.</li><li>Take and enter guests orders into computers or tablets for transmittal to the culinary team.</li><li>Take food and beverage orders from guests.</li><li>Check guests’ identification to ensure they meet minimum age requirements for consumption of alcoholic beverages.</li><li>Serve food or beverages to guests.</li><li>Present menus to guests and answer questions about menu items, beverages, and other restaurant functions and services.</li><li>Inform guests of menu changes, chef specials, and make recommendations you genuinely feel your guests will enjoy.</li><li>Clean tables after guests have finished dining.</li><li>Prepare and serve hot, cold, and mixed drinks to guests.</li><li>Roll cutlery, set up and maintain side stations.</li><li>Stock server stations with supplies such as coffee, glasses, rollups, plates etc. and maintain throughout the day.</li><li>Explain to guests how various menu items are prepared, describing ingredients and cooking methods.</li><li>Remove dishes and glasses from tables or bar top and take to dish for cleaning.</li><li>Assist at front door by answering phone to take reservations or to-go orders, and by greeting, seating, and thanking guests.</li><li>Perform cleaning duties, such as sweeping and mopping floors, vacuuming carpets, tidying up server station, taking out trash, and checking and cleaning washrooms.</li><li>Escort guests to their table.</li><li>Fill salt, pepper, sugar, cream, and condiments.</li></ul><p><br /></p><p><strong>Knowledge & Experience:</strong></p><ul><li>Ability to provide excellent customer service to all guests.</li><li>Knowledge of all food and beverage offerings.</li><li>Ability to use point-of-sale system.</li><li>Ability to multitask and to cater to multiple groups at one time.</li><li>Ability to dissolve conflict, take criticism, and solve problems.</li><li>Ability to learn quickly on the job.</li><li>Good written and verbal communication skills.</li><li>Excellent organizational and time management skills.</li></ul><p><br /></p><p><strong>Key Skills & Competencies:</strong></p><ul><li>Decision making</li><li>Judgment</li><li>Problem analysis and problem solving</li><li>Planning and organizing</li><li>Resource management</li><li>Communication</li><li>Hospitality focus</li><li>Quality Orientation</li><li>Teamwork</li><li>Adaptability</li><li>Flexibility</li><li>High energy level</li><li>Stress tolerance</li></ul><br><br><strong>REQUIREMENTS</strong><br /><ul></ul><br><br><strong>ABOUT THE COMPANY</strong><br /><p></p><p></p></p></p>Create Your Resume First
