We’re hiring a Senior UX Designer to support the transformation of digital public services for the Canadian Public Sector.
This contract focuses on creating user-centered designs and prototypes for high-impact government platforms used by citizens and public servants across Ontario.
Hybrid: 3 days onsite in Toronto, 2 days remote
Contract Length: 204 business days (until March 31, 2026)
️ What You’ll Work On:
️ Create intuitive, engaging, and accessible interfaces for web and mobile applications
️ Conduct user research, interviews, and usability testing to inform design decisions
️ Translate findings into user flows, journey maps, wireframes, and high-fidelity prototypes
️ Design with a user-centered approach and iterate rapidly based on feedback
️ Collaborate with developers, QA, and business stakeholders to align designs with project goals
️ Support the delivery of accessible, inclusive digital experiences across public-facing platforms
Key Skills We’re Looking For:
Experience as a UX designer, interactive designer, UI designer, or similar role
Proficiency with Figma, Canvas, and other design/prototyping tools
Strong background in user research and usability testing
Experience creating wireframes, mockups, and prototypes optimized for various devices
Familiarity with emotional aspects of digital experience and service design thinking
Understanding of accessibility and responsive design best practices

Experience working on public sector digital products
