<p>We are currently seeking Senior Cognos TM1 Planning Analytics / TM1 Senior Consultants to work for a well-known Canadian consulting company.</p><p><br></p><p>The ideal candidate will have 5 - 7 years of senior development experience with TM1 with proficiency in financial planning and analytics, accounting, and information systems. </p><p><br></p><p>Ideal Candidate Profile</p><ul><li>Experience with operating financial, planning & analytical systems</li><li>Planning Analytics, PAx and PAW experience is essential</li><li>LINUX EXPERIENCE PREFERED</li><li>PYTHON EXPERIENCE PREFERED</li><li>BEDROCK</li><li>Experience in change management and financial process improvement.</li><li>Possess good communication skills and have the ability to collaborate with both business and technical team members.</li><li>Able to perform business process analysis, requirements analysis and review technical designs.</li><li>Expert with software suites (i.e. Cognos BI, TM1, Planning and Analytics).</li></ul><p><br></p><p><br></p><ul><li>Accountabilities/Responsibilities</li><li>Implements recommendations from Sr. Mgmt. on the creation of new Planning Analytics applications or enhancements to existing ones.</li><li>Constructs and tests Planning Analytics application logic, and develops, creates, modifies application code for complex applications.</li><li>Manages the implementation of complex enhancements to existing Planning Analytics applications</li><li>Manages the implementation of complex implementation of major new Planning Analytics applications (enterprise-wide impact).</li><li>Collaborate with Finance and Accounting teams to discuss & understand business requirements and create functional requirements specifications</li><li>Build and present Proof of Concept to stakeholders and seek approval towards solution build</li><li>Implement Planning Analytics/ TM1 solutions using TM1 Rules, TI Processes, PAx, PAW</li><li>Implement TM1 security across implementations</li><li>Conduct Planning Analytics training sessions for the end-users</li></ul><p><br></p><p><br></p><p>Basic Qualifications</p><ul><li>Bachelor’s Degree and at least 5+ years of experience in TM1 application development and maintenance.</li><li>Solid 5+ years IBM Cognos TM1 Suite (version10.x) implementation experience from requirements to deployment</li><li>Hands-on with Turbo Integrator, TM1 Rules with the ability for performance tuning existing and new applications</li><li>Experience with technical design process and models.</li><li>Experience with SDLC / SW development processes (RUP, Agile, Waterfall)</li><li>Experience utilizing verbal and written communication skills</li><li>Experience using analytical skills, tools and techniques to investigate information and to draw conclusions.</li><li>Experience in identifying operational issues and recommending and implementing strategies to resolve problems.</li></ul><p><br></p><p>Preferred Qualifications</p><ul><li>Bachelor’s Degree (BA) or equivalent in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, Business Administration, or similar</li><li>Working knowledge with IBM Planning Analytics, Cognos BI and ETL 3.
