Our firm has built a team of passionate leaders focused on engaging with our people and developing them personally and professionally.</p><h3>What We Offer</h3><ul><li>Flexible work arrangements promoting work-life balance and well-being</li><li>Career advancement including firm leadership and partnership opportunities</li><li>Hands-on learning experience and targeted training programs to accelerate both people and technical skill development</li><li>Fun and inclusive work environment where team members can bring their authentic selves to work and receive support to thrive</li><li>Competitive compensation package commensurate with experience</li></ul><h3>Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Lead and review tax planning and preparation for individuals, estates, trusts, and small businesses with a focus on an owned-managed client base</li><li>Research complex and unusual tax matters and apply specialized knowledge to address a variety of tax issues for internal and external clients, including developing reorganizations plans</li><li>Mentor and develop junior team members; lead and coach others; foster knowledge transfer and internal training</li><li>Build and manage meaningful client relationships</li><li>Utilize Caseware, TaxPrep, and Microsoft Office; eager to learn new technologies</li><li>Identify issues and provide recommended solutions for clients and co-workers</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>5-7 years of post-CPA experience in a public accounting firm with strong tax planning and advisory focus</li><li>Experience leading and reviewing tax planning and preparation for individuals, estates, trusts, and small businesses</li><li>Ability to research complex tax matters and apply knowledge to client scenarios</li><li>Passion for mentoring and developing team members</li><li>Desire to develop capabilities across the firm through coaching and training</li><li>Proven ability to build and manage client relationships</li><li>Comfort with Caseware, TaxPrep, and Microsoft Office; willingness to learn new technologies</li><li>Curiosity to learn and apply technical knowledge to identify issues and propose solutions</li></ul><h3>About The Gig</h3><p>In this role, you will grow, be challenged, and work under the direction of a Partner to lead and complete client engagements. You will provide work direction and coaching to junior team members. Through our Leadership Development program, you will have opportunities for professional growth, learning, and career progression.</p><h3>About The Details</h3><p>This is a permanent full-time position in our tax team.
