Our client is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer with > 7 years of experience. The firm, situated in the Greater Toronto Area, is expanding its team and requires your expertise. This is a contract role.
Your qualifications will encompass:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, along with a minimum of 7 years of experience in power generation, TL, and HV substation design.
- The capability to work independently within a collaborative team environment.
- Proficiency in utilizing structural analysis software.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
Your duties will involve:
- Engaging in continuous communication and coordination with clients, other consultants, contractors, and suppliers.
- Contributing your extensive knowledge of codes and standards relevant to your design responsibilities.
- Ensuring projects are completed on schedule and within budget.
- Exhibiting creativity and innovation in problem-solving.
- Leading by example.
