The successful candidate will help make the UX research team and their outputs more efficient, scalable, impactful, and ethical. Responsibilities include developing and executing a formal ResearchOps strategy focusing on Knowledge Management & Democratization of Insights across BMO Digital, Governance, Recruitment, and Training. They will work closely with UX Research Leadership.
Responsibilities
- Design and create digital experiences prioritizing user and business needs over technology constraints.
- Understand user flows, interaction models, navigation, and usage.
- Apply user-centered design processes to develop satisfying and compelling experiences.
- Conduct user research and testing, develop wireframes and task flows based on user needs.
- Collaborate with development teams to create intuitive, user-friendly software using graphic design, programming, and web technologies.
- Work with cross-functional teams including engineering, product management, and user research.
- Select and implement the best design techniques and usability tests.
- Gather requirements and translate them into sketches, wireframes, visual designs, and prototypes.
- Use various design tools to communicate ideas and promote team collaboration.
- Create prototypes to convey initial concepts.
- Transform user and business needs into digital experiences.
- Develop sitemaps, information architecture, wireframes, and prototypes.
- Provide specialized consulting, analytical, and technical support.
- Handle non-routine situations independently.
Qualifications
Foundational proficiency: User Interface Design
Intermediate proficiency: Design Pattern/User Behavior, Imaging Tools, Web Analytics, Media Content and Graphic Designs, Emotional agility, Adaptability, Communication skills, Collaboration skills, Analytical and problem-solving skills, Data-driven decision making
Advanced proficiency: Business Requirements, Accessibility, Responsive design, Storytelling, Usability Evaluation, Design Thinking, Human Centricity, User Experience Design, User Research, Customer Centricity
Typically 5-7 years of relevant experience and a related post-secondary degree or equivalent experience.
Compensation
Salary: $74,800.00 – $138,600.00
Pay Type: Salaried
