Our client is seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Automation Analyst to support a data integration project within an Enterprise Data Warehouse.

Must Have:

  • 7+ Years of experience as a Quality Assurance
  • 3 years of experience with automated unit testing and integration testing.
  • 4 years of experience in Agile projects.
  • 2 years of experience with user acceptance testing , including the creation of user acceptance plans, status reporting, and managing assigned tasks.
  • 6 years of experience working as an Application Developer
  • Eligibility for Enhanced Security Clearance, with the last 3 years of continuous residency in either Canada or the United States

  • Nice to Have:

  • Professional qualification in Test Management (e.g., ISTQB or QAI certification).
  • 2 years of experience providing leadership, planning, estimating, and presenting ideas and solutions.
  • 2 years of experience with cloud computing or big data platforms and infrastructure.
  • 2 years of experience working in or for the public sector.
  • Description: The Data Unit requires contingent labor to support a data integration project aimed at redesigning and implementing several reporting data marts with conformed dimensions into an Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) and a set of dependent views. The role will ensure the architecture supports Justice data analytics and reporting needs and may support the application of Data Fabric architecture, data quality, data standards, and best practices as needed. The candidate will perform diverse functions and activities, such as understanding data warehouse design principles, reviewing logical and physical data models, supporting best practices for data management and integration, and working with ETL tools and techniques.



    Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement test automation to ensure service quality.
  • Collaborate in Agile Teams to improve services.
  • Participate in project activities, including fieldwork and user research.
  • Lead quality delivery for solutions.
  • Create and prioritize a backlog of work, estimate effort, and commit to the scope of work.
  • Identify quality-related tasks such as test case creation, system testing, and performance testing.
  • Design test plans and strategies with a focus on automation.
  • Develop automated tests and frameworks for integration, system, acceptance, and performance testing.
  • Work closely with Full Stack Developers to establish quality standards.
  • Investigate root causes of defects and support informed categorization and triage.
  • Perform other responsibilities as required or requested.
