<h3>Role Description</h3>
<p>The Property Manager oversees the property’s performance by maximizing profitability and maintaining standards within operational and budgetary objectives. Property Managers support and guide their staff to promote customer satisfaction, management, and skill development. They supervise contractors, monitor the quality of work, and ensure compliance with fire and life safety standards. This position requires travel to Ottawa and Sherbrooke.</p>

<h3>Responsibilities</h3>
<ul>
<li>Lead daily property operations, ensuring high standards of customer service and resident satisfaction</li>
<li>Supervise, train, and support on‑site staff; foster a positive, performance‑driven team culture.</li>
<li>Oversee leasing activities, including renewals, rent collection, and occupancy targets</li>
<li>Manage operating budgets, financial reporting, and capital improvement planning</li>
<li>Conduct market analysis to recommend competitive rental rates and retention strategies</li>
<li>Oversee maintenance and vendor performance to ensure timely, quality repairs and projects</li>
<li>Ensure compliance with health, safety, and fire regulations across all buildings</li>
<li>Organize and promote resident engagement events to strengthen community relations</li>
</ul>
<h3>Skills and Experience</h3>
<ul>
<li>5 years of progressive property management experience</li>
<li>Previous experience in multi‑residential or other related industry an asset</li>
<li>Knowledgeable in emergency procedures, including fire, flood, mould protocols</li>
<li>Demonstrates excellent customer service</li>
<li>Good written and verbal communication skills</li>
<li>Coach, train, and motivate staff</li>
<li>Possess an understanding of operating budgets and capital plans</li>
<li>Fluent in English and French (applicable to Quebec only)</li>
