<p><h3>Senior Project Manager</h3>
<p><b>MatchBox Consulting Group</b> is seeking a <b>Senior Project Manager</b> to join our client, a leading commercial interiors contractor based in <b>Surrey</b>. This team is known for fast‑paced delivery, strong client relationships, and a modern, tech‑forward approach to construction.</p>
<p>In this role, you will drive a major $8M+ campus retrofit and a pipeline of high‑value TI projects. This is a chance to own a core campus retrofit from preconstruction through turnover while leading a high‑volume TI portfolio ranging from $3M–$15M. <h3>Responsibilities</h3>
<ul>
<li>Issue contracts and request insurance, bonds, and WCB documentation.</li>
<li>Set up processes, cost codes, and project controls.</li>
<li>Manage schedules, budgets, change orders, meeting minutes, submittals, and field reports using Timberline and Microsoft tools.</li>
<li>Maintain accurate financial and progress reporting.</li>
<li>Oversee subtrades and suppliers.</li>
<li>Resolve issues late in design or during construction.</li>
<li>Maintain quality, schedule, and consistency across project phases.</li>
<li>Partner with Site Supervisors to manage sequencing, safety, and site execution.</li>
<li>Ensure alignment between field operations and project goals.</li>
<li>Lead meetings with clients, architects, and consultants.</li>
<li>Navigate campus stakeholders and multi‑unit environments.</li>
<li>Manage full project budgets and reporting.</li>
<li>Prepare monthly progress claims.</li>
<li>Review and approve subtrade and supplier invoices.</li>
</ul>
<h3>Qualifications</h3>
<ul>
<li>5–10 years of experience in commercial construction.</li>
<li>Strong background in tenant improvements, retrofit, campus environments, or multi‑unit conversions.</li>
<li>Experience as a Project Manager or Senior Project Coordinator; Site Superintendent experience is an asset.</li>
<li>Solid understanding of construction sequencing, scheduling, and procurement.</li>
<li>Post‑secondary technical education (BCIT or equivalent).</li>
<li>Strong communication and documentation skills; highly organized and financially focused.</li>
<li>Comfortable working independently while collaborating with field and office teams.</li>
<li>Ability to travel to multiple sites across BC.</li>
</ul>
