Job Description
<p><h3>Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Maintain accurate and up-to-date shop drawings, track the status of RFIs and changes</li><li>Work alongside and regularly communicate with owners, architects, contractors and engineers</li><li>Review, interpret and update construction schedules</li><li>Assist the Project Manager and Superintendent in project administration and field work</li><li>Conduct quality control activities, inspection programs and periodic updating of construction progress records</li><li>Assist in plan and spec analysis in order to provide clear trackable and coordinated interpretations of the design/drawings for construction.</li><li>Act as liaison with subcontractors in expediting drawings and related information.</li><li>Obtain quotations for Notices of Change.</li><li>Coordinate submittals and procure all close-out documents including warranties and Operating and Maintenance Manuals.</li><li>Monitor field work, including contract work, to ensure compliance with company standards, procedures, specifications and codes.</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>You have an engineering degree or diploma and 5-6 years of construction experience or an equivalent combination of technical training and experience</li><li>You have a working knowledge of scheduling and project management software</li><li>You have a working knowledge of construction equipment and techniques, drawings and specifications, building materials, and required standards applicable to discipline.</li><li>You work positively within a team to achieve a common goal of completion of the project</li></ul><h3>About EllisDon and Diversity</h3><p>EllisDon is proud to provide this unique career opportunity that provides continuous learning, opportunity for growth, and a competitive compensation package within an environment that is committed to inclusion and respects diversity.</p><p>Go ahead and be yourself.
