Spare is looking for a
Senior Product Manager
to join our Emerging Products team!
As a
Senior Product Manager
at Spare, you’ll be driving not just products but opportunities for our business to thrive. You will own a key product squad, playing a pivotal role in creating new revenue streams and accelerating growth.
This role requires travel to the United States, and successful candidates must have appropriate travel documents. Expect to travel 15-20% of the time.
This role follows a hybrid schedule: in-office on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, with remote work options on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Our office is located in downtown Vancouver, fostering collaboration and flexibility.
About this role
Own Product:
Take full ownership of a product squad, overseeing development, strategy, and lifecycle management.
Drive Product Vision:
Define and communicate the vision, strategy, and objectives for your product.
Collaborate Cross-functionally:
Work with engineering, design, marketing, and sales to align development with business goals.
Market Insights and Customer Needs:
Analyze data, conduct research, and engage with teams to identify trends and needs.
Inform Product Solutions:
Collaborate to generate innovative solutions addressing customer feedback and unmet needs.
Evangelize the Product:
Promote enthusiasm internally and externally for your product.
Roadmap and Resources:
Manage product roadmaps, strategies, resources, and release schedules.
Stakeholder Alignment:
Ensure internal and external stakeholder alignment on product requirements.
About You
Product Management Experience:
3+ years managing technical software products from inception to launch.
Experience working with enterprise customers and driving customer-centric decisions.
User Experience Excellence:
Proven success in shipping products with exceptional user experiences at scale.
Experience taking products from concept to market and post-launch optimization.
Stakeholder Relationship Building:
Ability to build strong relationships across teams.
Innovative Thinking:
Capacity for outside-the-box thinking, entrepreneurial experience is a plus.
Problem-Solving Skills:
Ability to identify root causes of issues and ensure success.
Technical background with understanding of software engineering to collaborate effectively.
Nice to have
Degree in computer science, mathematics, or related field.
Entrepreneurial background.
Experience in Transit/Mobility or AI products.
