As a Senior Manager, Domestic Tax, in the Privately Held Business areas of tax, you will have the opportunity to:

As a Senior Manager, Domestic Tax, you\'re a trusted advisor to clients, helping them with corporate and personal tax planning and compliance so they can benefit from tax savings. Here\'s some of what you\'ll get to do:

  • Work closely with clients and the engagement team to develop exceptional tax planning ideas and solutions to achieve our client’s business objectives
  • Be a leader in the management and development of our growing tax practice
  • Assist clients to manage their income tax planning, implementation and compliance requirements including complex Private Business corporate, personal, and trust matters
  • Identify, develop and pursue new opportunities for assisting clients with value added-on tax services
  • Provide exceptional client service
  • Stay attuned and respond to new legislation, interpretations and market factors that impact our clients
  • Coach and mentor professional staff
  • Prepare and present information to clients, colleagues and other professionals

We benchmark regularly across a wide spectrum of roles, industries, sectors, and levels to ensure our ranges are both competitive and current. Our salary ranges are reviewed annually, and where you land within the range depends on a mix of factors—your background, your skills, and how your contributions align with internal equity. To help start the conversation, the current salary range for this role is $130,000–$180,000 in Markham, ON. If the role is available in other locations, the range may differ to reflect local market factors.
